Data Deletion Instructions

You can delete your ViralDM account and all associated data at any time. This page explains every way to do it, including data we received from Meta (Instagram / Facebook).

1. Delete Your Account In-App (fastest)

1. Log in at viraldm.app/login
2. Go to Dashboard → Privacy & Security (Privacy Dashboard)
3. Click Delete Account and confirm by typing your email

Your account is scheduled for deletion immediately. All data is permanently erased within 30 days. If you change your mind, sign up again with the same email within 30 days to recover your account.

2. Request Deletion by Email

Email privacy@viraldm.app from the email address associated with your account, with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". We will confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days.

3. Deleting Instagram / Facebook Data Only

If you want to remove your connected social accounts (and the data we received from Meta) without deleting your whole account:

1. Log in and go to Dashboard → Accounts
2. Click Disconnect on the Instagram or Facebook account

Disconnecting removes the stored access tokens. You can additionally remove ViralDM's access from Meta's side at Facebook → Settings → Business Integrations or Instagram → Apps and Websites.

4. What Gets Deleted

• Account information (name, email, password hash, profile picture)
• Connected social account data and access tokens
• Subscribers, conversations, and message history
• Automations, broadcasts, sequences, and scheduled posts
• Uploaded media and custom fields

We retain only what the law requires us to keep (e.g. invoices and transaction records for tax purposes), as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Export Before You Delete

Want a copy of your data first? Use Privacy Dashboard → Export My Data to download everything we hold about you before deleting.
