Pick your assistant

Each one takes under five minutes. OAuth clients open a browser tab the first time; sign in and press Allow.

Paste the ViralDM serverAdd the block on the right. If the file already has mcpServers, add only the viraldm entry.
Restart and allowQuit Claude fully and reopen it. A browser window opens: sign in to ViralDM and press Allow access. The 58 tools appear in Claude.

Open your MCP fileCursor keeps its servers in ~/.cursor/mcp.json (or .cursor/mcp.json in a project). Settings → MCP opens it for you.

Which plans include MCP access?

All of them. On Free your assistant can read your automations, subscribers and analytics but not change them. From Starter (₹499 a month) it can create and change things too, and the free first month includes that. Calling the API directly with a key — for your own code — starts on Growth (₹1,499).

Which AI assistants work with it?

Any client that speaks Model Context Protocol: Claude Desktop, Cursor, Gemini CLI, n8n, Cline, Continue and more. Custom code can call the REST API directly.

How is sign-in handled?

Two ways. OAuth 2.0 with PKCE for Claude, Cursor and other clients: you approve access on a consent screen. Or a personal API key from Dashboard → API keys, for scripts, Gemini CLI and n8n.

Can I limit what an assistant can do?

Yes. There are three scopes: mcp:read to view, mcp:write to create and change, and mcp:admin for everything including deletions. The consent screen shows exactly what an app is asking for.

Is there a rate limit?

60 requests a minute per token. Above that you get a 429 with a clear message. Agencies that need more can write to [email protected].

Where is my data?

On ViralDM's own servers in India (Google Cloud, Mumbai). The MCP server is a translation layer and stores nothing itself. Connected-account tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM, and every connection is HTTPS. AI providers are listed on the sub-processors page.

How do I revoke access?

Dashboard → API keys lists every connected app; revoke any of them in one click. Tokens can also be revoked with POST /oauth/revoke (RFC 7009).

Can the assistant post to Instagram for me?

Yes. schedule_post schedules a post, carousel, Reel or Story on your connected Instagram account, and it goes out at the time you set.
