There are plenty of Instagram DM automation tools in 2026. Most were built for a US audience: priced in dollars, English-only, with no feature that assumes anything about India. For an Indian creator that is a constant low-level tax.
Here is what is genuinely different, feature by feature — including the places where the other tools still win.
1. INR billing, no dollar surprises
Most tools bill in USD, so the amount on your statement moves with the exchange rate and your card may add a foreign transaction fee on top. ViralDM bills in rupees through Razorpay: UPI, cards and net banking all work, and the number you agreed to is the number you pay.
2. Nine Indian languages, not English only
Elsewhere you can write a Hindi template, but the tool does not know which language the follower wrote in. Here the reply goes out in the language the message arrived in — Hindi, Hinglish, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Marathi, Gujarati, Punjabi and Kannada.
3. Native integrations instead of middleware
Connecting Google Sheets, Shopify or Razorpay through a middleware service is a second subscription and a delay between the event and the sync. These are built in and fire immediately.
4. Features that are hard to find elsewhere
- Revenue attribution — DM to click to sale to rupees, per automation
- UPI payment verification — a screenshot in the DM confirms an order
- AI calls — "call me" in a DM becomes a phone call in under a minute
- An MCP server — run your Instagram from Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor
5. Support in your hours and your language
Support runs on Indian working hours, in Hindi and English — not a US timezone with an overnight wait built into every reply.
6. The official Instagram API
Everything runs on the official Instagram Graph API. Your password is never requested and never stored; the connection is made on Instagram’s own consent screen and you can revoke it whenever you like.
7. Payments the way India actually pays
Tools that only support Stripe cannot take UPI, which is how most Indian buyers pay. Razorpay covers UPI, cards, net banking and EMI.
8. Rate controls tuned for Indian creators
- Nothing is sent between midnight and 7am IST, and comments arriving in that window are held rather than dropped.
- Up to 600 replies an hour per account — under Meta’s own cap of 750 — and anything over that waits for the next hour.
- One person never receives two DMs in the same day.
Where the other tools are still better
A comparison that only flatters us is one nobody believes, so:
- Flow builders. ManyChat’s is deeper. If your funnel needs many branches and conditions, that is a real advantage.
- Multi-channel. If you run Messenger, TikTok, SMS and email alongside Instagram, having them in one place is worth paying for.
- An audience outside India. If your followers are in the US or Europe, UPI and Hinglish do nothing for you, and rupee pricing matters less.
Switching takes about a day
Your subscribers as a CSV from the old tool
Into Subscribers, tags intact
Instagram, one click, no password
Your top three automations, then cancel the old one
- Export your subscribers from the other tool as a CSV.
- Sign up (first month free, no card).
- Import the CSV under Subscribers → Import.
- Connect Instagram with one click.
- Rebuild your top three automations.
- Cancel the other subscription once the new one is running.
Keep both running for a few days before cancelling. There is no reason to have a gap.
