How it works

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is a standard way for AI assistants to use other apps. ViralDM runs an MCP server at https://mcp.viraldm.app/mcp.

Your AI signs in as you (OAuth — the same "Allow" screen you know from other apps). There is no API key to copy, and you can revoke it any time.

Both directions: the AI reads from ViralDM (stats, leads, DMs) and can act in it (create an automation, schedule a broadcast) when you ask. On the Free plan it can read but not change anything.

What goes across

ViralDM → your AI: the numbers, leads and conversations you ask about.
Your AI → ViralDM: actions you ask for, such as creating an automation.

Connect your AI

Add ViralDM to your AI app

Claude (claude.ai or the desktop app): open Connectors (under Customize; older versions: Settings), press + Add → Add custom connector. Name it ViralDM, paste https://mcp.viraldm.app/mcp, add it, then press Connect, sign in to ViralDM and press Allow. On Team and Enterprise plans an owner adds it first under Organization settings → Connectors.
ChatGPT: add a custom MCP server. Where depends on your ChatGPT version: newer versions have it under Plugins (+ → Add custom MCP server); older ones under Settings → Apps with Developer mode turned on. Paste the URL, pick OAuth, sign in and press Allow. Custom MCP servers need a ChatGPT plan that allows them.
Cursor, Claude Code and other MCP apps: add a server named viraldm with the URL above. The first call opens ViralDM sign-in. Apps without OAuth can send a key from API Keys as a Bearer token.
Then try: "How many leads did my bio page get this week?"
