Connect Slack to ViralDM
Get a Slack message in a channel of your choice for every new lead, order, payment and booking.

- ViralDM → Slack
- How to connect
- One click (or a webhook URL)
- Updated

How it works
You pick one Slack channel. ViralDM posts a message there for each event, with the person's details.
ViralDM can only post into that one channel. It cannot read your Slack.
Steps from the Flow Builder post a short readable message, for example "⚡ Price DM: Hot lead".
What goes across
- All six business events.
- The Flow Builder step "Send to a connector".
One click
Connect Slack in one click
- In ViralDM open Connectors and press Connect on Slack.
- On Slack's page, pick the channel the alerts should go to and press Allow.
- Press 🧪 Test. A test message appears in that channel.
The other way
Use a webhook URL instead
Slack can give you an "incoming webhook" link for one channel. A webhook is a web address (URL) that one app calls the moment something happens, so the other app hears about it instantly.
Incoming Webhook URL
- Go to api.slack.com/apps and press Create New App → From scratch. Name it ViralDM and pick your workspace.
- Open Incoming Webhooks and switch on Activate Incoming Webhooks.
- Press Add New Webhook to Workspace, pick the channel and approve (Allow or Authorize).
- Copy the Webhook URL. It starts with https://hooks.slack.com/services/.
Treat this link like a password: anyone who has it can post into that channel.
After connecting
Check it works
- Press 🧪 Test on the connector in ViralDM. It sends one test event, so you can see it arrive before a real lead does.
- On the Connectors page, open the connector: it shows how many events were sent, when the last one went, how many failed, and the reason for the last failure.
- You can also send a person to this connector from inside an automation: in the Flow Builder add the step "Send to a connector" and pick it. The step does nothing if the connector is not connected.
Test fails with "answered HTTP 404" or "403".
The webhook was removed or the channel was deleted or archived. Connect again and pick a channel.
"Webhook URL must be a public HTTPS URL".
Paste the full https://hooks.slack.com/… link, not a channel link.
