ViralDM MCP vs SuperProfile MCP: Run Instagram From Claude or ChatGPT (2026)

What the video shows, step by step

1. Connect once. Paste https://mcp.viraldm.app/mcp into Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini CLI, Grok or another assistant that speaks MCP.
2. One sentence, in Hinglish. The prompt is "Meri latest reel pe jo GUIDE comment kare, use free guide DM kar do". Claude calls get_account_media to find the latest Reel, then setup_auto_dm with that Reel's id and the keyword GUIDE. It is live when the call returns — not a draft. From then on everyone who comments GUIDE gets the guide in their DM, plus a public reply. Instagram's own rule still applies: a business can DM people who commented, replied to a story or messaged first — nobody else.
3. A sale, inside the DM. "Now send Riya a ₹499 UPI pay link." create_pay_link builds a pay page with a QR code and a Pay button. send_broadcast first makes a draft and reports how many people it would reach; only the second call, with confirm_send, sends it. When the payment screenshot comes back it is checked automatically and the course goes out. The money goes to your own UPI ID; ViralDM takes no commission.
4. You stay in control. Connecting shows ViralDM's consent screen — the assistant asks to Read and to Create & modify, and nothing happens until you press Allow access. Under Security → Connected apps, Disconnect removes an app's access at once, and a broadcast waits for your OK.

3. ChatGPT: on a plan with developer mode, add a custom app with the same URL and OAuth sign-in.
4. Cursor, Gemini CLI, n8n: add a remote MCP server with the URL; n8n users can also use our community node. Steps for each are on /docs/mcp.
5. Hermes Agent: add the URL under mcp_servers in Hermes's config.yaml with OAuth sign-in.
6. Grok: through xAI's API, which accepts a remote MCP server as a tool — pass the URL as server_url and a ViralDM API key as the authorization token.
7. A ViralDM window opens. Sign in, read what the app is asking for, and press Allow access. Ask for something — "list my connected accounts" is a good first test.
