Connect Notion to ViralDM
Add every new lead from ViralDM as a page in a Notion database of your choice.

- ViralDM → Notion
- How to connect
- One click (or an integration secret)
- Updated
- 18 October 2026
How it works
You choose one Notion database. Each event creates one new page in it.
The page title is the person's name (or email, or username). The Email column gets their email and the Event column says what happened, for example lead.captured.
Steps from the Flow Builder also write the message and your note into the page itself.
What goes across
- All six business events.
- Pages from the Flow Builder steps "Notion page" and "Send to a connector".
One click
Connect Notion in one click
- In Notion, make the database first. It needs three columns: Name (the title column), Email (type Email) and Event (type Text).
- In ViralDM open Connectors and press Connect on Notion.
- On Notion's page, choose your workspace, then tick the database (or the page that contains it) and press Allow access.
- Back in ViralDM, choose the database new leads go to and press "Use this database".
- Press 🧪 Test. A test page appears in the database.
The other way
Paste an integration secret instead
If one-click connect is not available, you can create your own Notion integration and paste two values.
Internal Integration Secret
- Go to notion.so/my-integrations. Notion now calls these "connections" and may open its Developer portal (Internal connections) instead. You must be a workspace owner.
- Create a new internal integration (connection) and pick your workspace.
- Open its Configuration tab and copy the secret (API token). New ones start with ntn_; older ones start with secret_ and still work.
- Open your database in Notion, press ••• at the top right → Connections → Add connection, and pick your integration. Without this step Notion refuses the pages.
Database ID
- Open the database as a full page in Notion.
- Copy its link (Share → Copy link, or from the browser address bar).
- The database ID is the long 32-character code in the link, just before "?v=". Paste only that code.
The database must have the columns Name (title), Email (Email type) and Event (Text type), spelled exactly like that.
After connecting
Check it works
- Press 🧪 Test on the connector in ViralDM. It sends one test event, so you can see it arrive before a real lead does.
- On the Connectors page, open the connector: it shows how many events were sent, when the last one went, how many failed, and the reason for the last failure.
- You can also send a person to this connector from inside an automation: in the Flow Builder add the step "Send to a connector" and pick it. The step does nothing if the connector is not connected.
Test fails with "Notion answered HTTP 400".
The database is missing a column. Check it has Name (title), Email (type Email) and Event (type Text), with exactly those names.
Test fails with "Notion answered HTTP 404".
The database is not shared with the integration. In Notion: ••• → Connections → add the ViralDM integration (or your own).
My database is not in the list.
Only databases you allowed on Notion's page are listed. Disconnect, connect again, and tick that database.
Can I add more columns?
Yes. ViralDM only fills Name, Email and Event; your other columns stay as they are.
